Al-Qaeda got rid of an ill terrorist by persuading him committing a suicide attack in Tizi Ouzou

The Ministry of Home Affairs said in communiqué, yesterday, that the suicide attacker who targeted a police station in Tizi Ouzou province, last Sunday, suffered from depression, while alluding to the fact that Al-Qaeda has took of hi illness an advantage to persuade him committing the suicide attack. Furthermore, the picture of the abovementioned Kamikaze has been posted yesterday in Al-Qaeda website, while claiming responsibility of the suicide attack which targeted a military patrol in Lakhdaria locality, last month. The Ministry communiqué mentioned that the suicide attacker who targeted Information Police Station in Tizi Ouzou is called Sahari Mekhloufi, alias Abu Meriem and Hudaifa. The same source further indicated that he was born on 1973 and originated from Kouba municipality, southern Algiers, pointing out that he was put among dangerous terrorists wanted by police since 02 June 2007. The communiqué said Mekhloufi succeeded last year Toufik Ghazi as the new leader of Ennour Squad in Tizi Ouzou. The Ministry of Home Affairs further indicated that Mekhloufi was living a depression following being subject to a serious disease in the bottom part of his body. The same communiqué pointed out: “this critical situation has been seized while persuading him committing the suicide attack.” It is an allusion to the fact that Al Qaeda has deliberately got rid of Abu Meriem because he was ill.
