He further says, “When back to Tazmelt, I noticed a young man in a tracksuit, I asked him to show his identity documents but tried to dispossess me from my arm, a clash broke down and lost bullet hit the young man. In order to prove my bona fide I took him to the hospital and even engaged contacts to take him to the military hospital in Aïn Naâdja but he unfortunately lost his life”. However, except the fact that the victim tried to dispossess the MP from his firearm, Smail Mira statements are identical to those revealed by the victim to his family before he dies.

Mr. Merbah said the murder was not volunteer otherwise Mira “would have had pointed his pistol to the head of the victims not to his belly and he would not have had transported him to hospital”.
In another side, Mr. Merbah condemned what he called “statements and acts of a certain party” without revealing its name. He said that the concerned party “is attempting to poison the relationship between the victim’s family and the party” accusing it with “maneuvering and looking for celebrity on the expanse of innocent people”. The NRG leader was alluding to Social Forces Front party (FFS).
