Chinese Vice Premier to visit Algeria

Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu will pay official visits to Algeria, Cyprus and Spain from Nov. 18to 29, announced Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao on Tuesday.
The Chinese Vice Premier, who will be accompanied with a delegation of businessmen will conclude many deals and agreements as part of boosting bilateral relationships between Algeria and china.
Partnership and cooperation in energy field and peaceful nuclear energy will also be tackled by both countries.
In November 2006, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika paid a visit to China where many agreements in different fields were signed by him and Chinese President Hu Jintao.
Commercial exchanges between Algeria and china reached $1.7 billion in 2005 and they exceeded $2 billion in 2006.
During his visit to Algeria in February 2004, Chinese President Hu Jintao mentioned that China gives a big importance to develop a strategic partnership with Algeria. The Asian country wants to deepen bilateral cooperation in all fields.
China encourages companies manufacturing household appliances, medicines and textile for cooperation in different ways with Algerian firms.
