The UN Commission examines Algeria human rights situation

UN Human Rights Protection and Promotion sub-Commission is to study today with the third periodic report on human rights submitted by the Algerian authorities, they the commission is to phrase the questions to be asked to the Algerian authorities they will answer by the forthcoming October when discussing the report after getting acquainted with the preoccupations of human Rights NGOs.
UN Human Rights experts are to examine Algeria third periodic report on human rights, after which Algeria is to answer the questions raised in terms of human rights in an in camera three-hour meeting, according to the agenda of the sub-commission.
The Algerian authorities tackled in the report the issues of human rights current situation, stressing the fact the peace law is inspired from the international legislations. It also mentions that the authorities could not do better than compensating the missing families, as a measure implemented in all the countries that underwent a crisis similar to the Algerian one.
The report further underscores the reforms introduced to justice system and laws adopted by the parliament recently.
