Terror: British Police chases Algerians on the run

Ech-Chorouk, on Friday, May 25

The British police Scotland Yard launched on Wednesday a high profile appeal for information leading to find three people of whom there are two Algerians who are on the run. They are alleged to belong to a terrorist group that considered carrying out attacks on the British army and elsewhere.

The Police described them as dangerous people. The two Algerians are called Lamine Adam, 26 and his brother Ibrahim Adam, 20 in addition to the British suspect Cerie Bullivant, 24.

The terror suspects failed to contact a monitoring company on Monday evening.

DAC Peter Clarke said: « I am asking members of the public who actually see these men not to approach them, but to call immediately. « Anyone with other relevant information on their whereabouts should contact the confidential anti-terrorist hotline. »

Their pictures have been broadcast in British TV channels and published in newspapers since last Thursday.

This event came after a similar one happened last year when two other people run away.

On the other hand, special courts ordered to keep watch on any terror suspect in the frame of the laws stipulated by Tony Blair’s government in 2002.

These measures reached Algerians. Most of them are currently in prison.

According to Lord Carlile, the independent reviewer of anti-terror legislation, the three suspects were under tightened surveillance that’s why; they thought to attack the British forces abroad. Additionally, they are believed to know Anthony Garcia who was sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in the fertiliser bomb plot.

According to some sources, the two Algerians seized the opportunity of the match finals between Manchester United and Chelsea last Saturday to disappear. The third suspect has not shown up since May 22, said Scotland Yard.
