Algeria asks for comprehensive convention with right of resistance

Algerian foreign affairs minister Mourad Medelsi has called on the international community to conclude the Comprehensive Convention against International Terrorism including a clear definition of terrorism.
He said the Convention should separate between terrorism and legitimate fight against occupation.
At the 62nd session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mourad Medelsi mentioned that the fight against terrorism requires the treatment of this phenomenon causes and to find a just solution for the Middle East conflict.
Algeria hopes that talks between Morocco and the Polisario Front will reach an agreement in accordance with the international legitimacy. “In this way, the people of Western Sahara to pronounce themselves, freely and without constraints, through a self-determination referendum.”
