US Government behind failing agreement on Algerian prisoners in Guantanamo base

The US party is behind the failing of an agreement that has been more likely to be signed, concerning the Algerian prisoners extradition, a source briefed on the record of the Algerian prisoners at Guantanamo base, unveiled.

« The U.S party was not willing to achieve an agreement about the Algerian prisoners in Guantanamo, and they are seeking making the Algerian party responsible of the failure of the agreement » the same source told El Khabar, on the margins of the international meeting of counterterrorism held yesterday in Algiers. « First the Americans have required explanations about the Algerian judiciary, we have undertaken contacts and negotiations which have allowed us visiting the Algerian prisoners, in view of identifying them, » the source added,  » we counted 26 Algerians, including 6 holding the Bosnian nationality, but still preserving their original nationality, we have examined a case of an Algerian suffering from a mental disorder, one of them has been transferred to Albania, his name is Fethi Boucena, however the rest are willing to come back home. » « Algeria is refusing the way the U.S party is dealing with the record, they are Algerians, who have been imprisoned abroad, according to the Algerian law that considers terrorism, and pertaining to a terrorist group as a crime, we do not consider them guilty,  » our source has announced. « We have been close to an agreement releasing the Algerian prisoners, but the Americans have failed in meeting their commitments, in our turn, we have refused the way the U.S has adopted when dealing with previous cases, » the speaker concluded.
