Joint security services brigades to be created to unmask illegal migration networks’ tycoons

A working plan has been laid down at the aim of increasing coordination between all security services bodies, respectively Police, National Gendarmerie, and Coasts Guards, has unveiled the Prefect of Annaba eastern province, Mr. Mohamed Elghazi.

This plan is at the aim of toppling the illegal migration networks’ tycoons, added the same speaker, “a great number of young people across the province, and the neighboring provinces are being exploited by these networks,” pointed out the Prefect. Intervening at a security meeting at the headquarters of the National Gendarmerie in Annaba, Mr. Elghazi, joint brigades will be created to be in charge of unmasking of the real masterminds of the illegal migration networks, which transport young illegal migrants on board of travelers till the European southern shores. The Prefect added that these rings have been created by the Algerians, who immigrated illegally to Europe on board of commercial ships. According to Mr. Elghazi, the investigation will extend to the secret workshops specialized in the building of the travelers used by these networks, and all the sectors related to the illegal migration. Moreover, the Prefect of Annaba has indicated that the Coasts Guards are facing difficulties when fighting the illegal migration phenomenon, as the shores of Annaba are extended to 80km, and because of the secret activities of the illegal migration networks.
